So it is time for us to really change the way in which we can support our amazing cruise retail industry in a totally new and unique way.

Today, we are launching our CRA+ program. A chance for experienced shipboard retail leaders to register with us to step up to become a freelancer to offer your talent, experience and services to a number of leading brands across the globe supporting the cruise retail industry.

Our goal is to provide a new and unique way for brands to train more shoppies on more ships by providing an innovative way for them to do so utilising the amazing talent which exists in our industry. CRA+ is a new service from us which will connect brands with onboard training, merchandising, auditing and sales in a new localized way. Finding nearby talent, when needed, to increase product knowledge, improve sales performance and achieve stronger brand standards.

Why this way?

With many years of senior experience in the cruise retail sector, and already pioneering a digital-first training strategy, we recognize that nothing beats face-to-face group training and onboard sales. But, globally this is a challenge to achieve for many brands and suppliers with difficulties in time, resource, logistics and manpower.

So, we are thinking a bit differently! On top of the great digital training platform services which we offer (more news on that front coming soon!), now we add a new part of our training services. Our goal is to connect the best cruise ship retail talent with opportunities near to them, to provide their professional services to the best brands. We will do this by building the CRA+ Hub, offering the chance for you to provide freelancer services to a wide variety of brands, and essentially become your own boss. You choose the work you want to do from our Hub, and you select when you want to do it.

Who can be an Academy Freelancer?

This new way of working will allow a large number of retail professionals from onboard cruise ships, the chance to connect to leading land-based brands and experiences, and add new skills onto their CV, whilst also earning extra money.

We are looking for ex-managers, specialists, ambassadors or any other position that would make you suitable for the role of an Academy Freelancer. Where possible, you should live fairly near to cruise ports and be willing to work when the cruise ships are in port, or sometimes when they are sailing.

We are interested for shoppies to register their interest, and to get connected into our pool, so when we launch in the next weeks we can offer you some great opportunities to earn extra money.
