The Cruise Retail Diploma is a structured, four-level pathway that builds cruise retail talent from first principles through to leadership.
 

Level 1, the Introduction, lays the groundwork with modules covering the cruise industry itself, the fundamentals of cruise retail, selling and service, luxury retail, life onboard, and personal development.

Level 2, Product Knowledge, deepens that foundation with specialist expertise across the core retail categories on board — Watches, Jewelry, Duty-Free, Beauty, and Fashion.

Level 3, Sales, turns that knowledge into results on the shop floor. It covers how to build trust with guests, upsell and cross-sell honestly, guide the guest through every stage of the sale, close with confidence, and follow up so a single sale becomes a returning guest. It finishes with category-specific sales masterclasses, a final assessment, and the Diploma certificate.

Level 4, Leadership, shifts the focus inward and upward, developing the personal and interpersonal skills — self awareness, communication, emotional intelligence, resilience, critical thinking, personal branding, and goal setting — that turn a strong specialist into a confident leader.
