Your CV is Your Shop Window!

Morning everyone,

Lots of great interviews and discussions this week, but a real common thread I want to highlight is CV's. We have a great webinar in the E-Academy to help you sharpen your CV, if you have not had the opportunity to watch it yet, I would really recommend it to you!

Remember, that your CV is your shop window to the cruise retail operators. It needs to be showing the most relevant skills and experiences in a way which is tailored to cruise retail. Your CV needs to make a recruiter imagine you in their job role. So think about what skills and behaviours we are coaching you on through the E-Academy, and think to yourself.... does my CV reflect this?

Hint: It shouldn't be a 4 page list of every single task and duty you ever did!

We will share some practical tips and advice as we support you in your journey, but I would really recommend some proactive quality time spent in sharpening your CV!

Let us know in the comments below and questions, thoughts or suggestions you have for your fellow Academy members!

Hey everyone!

I recently updated my CV after reviewing the E-Academy guidance, and it helped me see how I can better present my retail experience in a way that aligns with cruise retail roles.

For me,the e- academy CV workshop is great. Including to what you aim to achieve to experience, skills and hobbies or interests. Having details to make recruiter understand profile.
